The Senegalese and now ex-Portsmouth defensive midfielder has signed with AEK for 2 years.The deal is reportedly worth 8oo,ooo Euros per season.Dioup prior to Portsmouth played with Fulham where he won a Player of the Year award.Tall,strong in the air and in the tackle,he should provide the backbone thats been missing now in our midfield for a few years.
