Jack Bell: Who are ya?

Because of this, which is possibly the worst football post I have read in a really, really, really long time, I have removed the New York Times Goal Blog from the links section of AEK Archives.  This is an unacceptably extreme example of hack sports analysis.  How the New York Times, the supposed U.S. national journal of record, could let someone who doesn’t know much about football in general, and knows absolutely nothing about the Greek National Team specifically, write about both football and the Greek National Team, without checking any of the factual assertions made in his article (Gainnakopoulos is our key player in the midfield!  A team full of unknown players!  No mention of Gekas, Amanatidis or Kyrgiakos!), well, it astounds me.  Shame on Jack Bell and shame on the New York Times.  By the way, if the article upsets you, take some solace in the comments section where Bell gets what he deserves.
