Greece 2-0 Cyprus

Greece, missing many regular first team players, fielded a handful of youth players to defeat friendly rivals Cyprus 2-0 yesterday.  From AEK, Papastathopoulos featured at Center Back making his third appearance for the senior Greek national team.  The biggest news of the day, however, centered on Panathinaikos’s 18 year-old midfielder Sotiris Ninis, who netted a goal in the first five minute in his senior team debut.
